The futuristic cabin design of the 2024 Mirai can comfortably fit five people in its SoftTex®-trimmed seats. The 2024 Mirai is a zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) that generates its electric power from hydrogen. The only by-product it produces is water.
The three hydrogen tanks have an estimated refueling time of five minutes with a maximum filling pressure of 87.5 megapascals. It also funnels hydrogen from the oxygen entering the intake grille to the fuel cell stack.
The Toyota Fuel Cell System (TCFS) has a volume of 142.2 liters and can provide a maximum power output of 128 kilowatts. It is paired with a drive battery with a power output of 310.8 volts.
The new Mirai has a rear-wheel drive drivetrain and electric power steering. It has three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport to tune to your driving needs. Long drives are not a problem with its impressive mileage in between refueling.
